This year’s presentation is an exploration of unexpected and devious tricks for editing SolidWorks models, reorganizing history, and reverse Engineering from scans/imported models.
Attendees will leave with some really useful techniques employing things like deliberately sabotaging features and creating place-holding geometry as work-arounds for vexing every-day problems.
There is also a bunch of stuff about beating common problems with history based modeling.
*We know how hard it can be to grasp or reproduce the points if you weren’t actually in the room when the presentation was given. We have added notes to the PowerPoint slides. The SolidWorks files have comments and configurations to make it easier for you to learn and reproduce what’s important.
We have also added starting and ending versions of the files changed during the presentation to clarify the techniques being discussed
In this download we added two bonus samples that had to be cut from the actual presentation due to time constraints. You will have to navigate to them using Windows explorer.
