To add a new product to their lineup, Mathews Company enlisted DiMonte Group to design four fans and heater assemblies.
Challenge
- Design for in-house manufacturing and out-sourcing
- Two types of documents required: In-house standard and ANSI standard style drawings
Development
After visiting and reviewing Mathews’ facilities, the fans and heaters were designed for Mathews’ fabrication capabilities.
Sourcing
In addition to using existing Mathews’ components where possible, DGI sourced standard components, and located suppliers for specialty items.
Design for Manufacturing
After reviewing the designs with manufacturing, a complete documentation package of detail & assembly drawings, costed BOMs, and plumbing & wiring schematics, was provided.
