Since our founding in 1996, DiMonte Group has partnered with aerospace and defense organizations to develop mission‑critical products for some of the most demanding environments on Earth. Our team’s deep expertise in DFM and electronics packaging enables us to deliver cost-realistic, “like-material” and “like-manufactured” prototypes early in the process — accelerating development and reducing risk.
We routinely support clients through stringent military design reviews and prototype milestones, helping ensure compliance, performance, and long‑term reliability. Learn how we design for Defense and Aviation.
Heads‑Up Displays & Avionics Systems

DiMonte Group has designed and supported advanced avionics and display systems for fixed‑wing and rotary aircraft platforms, spanning both new development and modernization programs.
Avionics we have designed:

Military Personnel Gear
From soldier‑worn systems to heavy ordnance packaging, DiMonte Group has designed dozens of field‑tested solutions that improve reliability, compatibility, durability, and survivability.
STUB – Standard Tactical Universal Battery
A next generation family of ruggedized and rechargeable Li-ion batteries designed to replace over 10,000 batteries currently in use by the US Army. DiMonte Group led a full redesign focused on improved reliability, durability, and assembly efficiency—while integrating new features such as an internal heater and power‑level indicator, all without changing the external form factor.

CWB – Conformable Wearable Battery
A rugged, ergonomic, and flexible battery pack delivering 150 watt‑hours of power for systems including IVAS and Nett Warrior. Its thin, lightweight, and conformable design allows safe operation on a soldier’s front, back, or side ballistic armor while maintaining durability in the field.

105mm Howitzer M1 Ammo Container
These plastic containers must withstand extreme abuse to ensure safe transport of artillery rounds in freezing arctic conditions and scalding desert climates. DiMonte Group improved container durability through iterative finite element analysis (FEA) applying our expert knowledge of DFM for injection molding.
