This product was built on a STMicroelectronics processor we inherited from the initial design. We revised the hardware, rewrote the software, and secured a reliable contract manufacturer – all within a tight deadline.

The Display:
The E-paper display is easy to read in any light condition and at any angle. This is the same technology that is used in popular reading tablets such as the Amazon Kindle. E-paper displays have a very low power consumption which prolongs the battery life of the product. The display automatically articulates to left-handed, right-handed, or vertical orientation based on feedback from the incorporated accelerometer. This feature can easily be toggled on and off with a button. We programed the display to show the Milton logo during periods of inactivity. The user interface features low battery, low temperature and over-pressure screen alerts.
